Master Keys

Master keys are used by the personnel to unlock any locker in case of lost ticket (Card, Wristband, etc.), to make a passage or to turn on and off the free passage on Metra access control devices, etc.

Lockers unlocked with the master key can be locked back (if wrong one is unlocked) and later unlocked normally with the user ticket.

They are defined in the Metra software and distributed to the Metra devices through the Metra NET Network so if there is a Metra Network Controller  failure or Metra NET Network connection is accidentally cut, the Master Keys will still work on the Metra devices.

Up to 20 Keys (sum of Master Keys + Multi Keys) can be defined.

Function buttons

Code: Master Key's ID.

Description: Master Key's description. Used to describe Master Key's owner.

Enabled: If "Yes" Master Key is enabled.

Passage: Master Card is valid only on selected passage.

Application/Chip ID/Club ID: See  Master Keys Add & Edit.

Card Number/Serial Number: RFID's (card, wristband, key ring, clip, etc) serial number. NOTE: If the card number is coloured RED, this RFID Media is already added as a Master or a Multi Key. Master Key should not be a Multi Key at the same time, but it can be added as several Master Keys for different passages.
