Code: Enter Point of Sale's ID.
Description: Type-in Point of Sale's description.
Computer Name: Computer's (network) name; Can be found and changed if needed in "Control Panel\System" under the tab "Computer Name".
ID Export: When exporting into XML file, ID Export (if entered) can be used as entry's ID.
Sale Mode: Set the type of Sale Mode in the Metra POS Software. If set to " +" Ticket must be assigned to RFID Media when added to sale window. If set to " *" Different Tickets can be added to the sale window and assigned before making Invoice / Delivery Note. Is operating with Coupons Sale Mode must be set to " */+". NOTE: Before SW version 3.51.1202.1 this functionality was supported only for LCC NET Tagsys systems.
Cash Drawer: Type-in cash drawer's open command if you want to enable cash drawer opening from the Metra POS Software without printing the Bill/Delivery Note. NOTE: Examples #07 and #25 are the cash drawer 1 and 2 open commands for Star TSP700 Raster Printer. See your Printer technical documentation for cash drawer open command(s).
Button in Metra POS Software:
Barcode: Compose the text printed with the barcode on the Invoice (Bill). Barcode is used to boost sales in 3rd party SW by printing barcode coupons. Use printer and Metra commands. See also Commands for more information and Barcode check engine for additional description.
POS Printer: Printer connected to computer. Copy & Paste Printer's name from "Control Panel\Printers and Faxes\" (Windows XP) or "Devices and Printers" (Windows 7) right-click on printer you want to use and select "Properties". Printer's name is entered under tab "General". NOTE: Printing from Metra POS Software is done according to parameters set in "Printing Defaults". Read more. Occupation height: Enter custom height in pixels of Area/Locker occupancy fields in Metra POS Software. If left blank, default value is used. See Metra POS Software Help for more details.
Last Amounts: If " - Checked" the values of the last document remain on screen (bottom left in Metra POS Software) until the new document (Invoice, Delivery Note, etc.) is created.
Hide Card Events: If " - Checked" last card events are not shown in the POS Client SW when ticket info is made (ticket read).
Fiscal Printer: (Available only if Fiscal Printer is checked on the System page.) " - Check" if you have Fiscal Printer connected to this POS terminal, if not, make sure it is " - Unchecked".
Display: Type-in the COM port to which the Customer Display is connected. See Customer Display's installation instructions for more details.
Card Printer: Printer connected to computer. Copy & Paste Printer's name from "Control Panel\Printers and Faxes\" (Windows XP) or "Devices and Printers" (Windows 7) right-click on printer you want to use and select "Properties". Printer's name is entered under tab "General". NOTE: Printing from Metra POS Software and/or ELS NET Client Software is done according to templates set in Card Printer Template. NOTE: Multiple computers can share the same printer while build-in reader works only with the computer which the printer is connected to.
Card Printer Reader: HID Omnikey Workbench SW is required.
Desktop Reader: Select Desktop POS Reader for this point of sale. Setting is used for:
Installations where 3rd Party POS software is used and Metra Desktop POS Reader is connected directly to the Metra NET Network and not to the POS computer.
Installations where 3rd Party POS software is used and Metra Desktop POS Reader USB is connected to the POS computer, POS Service is required.
Installations where Metra MyMetraLockers software is used and Metra Desktop POS Reader USB connected to the POS computer. POS Service is required.
Wristband Issuer: If you are setting-up a Self Service Payment Terminal with a Wristband Issuer device, select the corresponding Wristband Issuer from the drop down menu.
Metra WEB CAM: Type-in the URL of the IP camera that you want to use. Multiple points of sale can share the same camera. Use the following URL without quotes, but change the IP address: "http://192.168.100.130/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi?resolution=320x240&compression=25".
Point of Sale Group: Select Point of Sale Group. Point of Sale Groups are defined and assigned to POS terminals in order to grant / deny sales of different Service Groups.
Sale Groups: are defined and assigned to POS terminals and or Service Groups to enable grouping of POS terminals and/or Service Groups in cost centers. Cost centers are used to account for related revenues and expenses.
Business Unit: Only available if Slovenian fiscalization is turned on. From the drop down menu select Point of Sale's business unit group. Each physical location is a business unit and multiple points of sale are combined under each business unit.
Areas: Occupancy of selected Areas is shown in Area occupancy filed in Metra POS Software. See Metra POS Software Help for more details.
Locker: Occupancy of selected Locker View Groups is shown in Locker occupancy filed in Metra POS Software. See Metra POS Software Help for more details.
*SELF SERVICE PAYMENT TERMINAL: If creating a Point of Sale for Payment Terminal, Code and Description are required. If required select also the Wristband Issuer device. Leave other fields blank/unchecked.
