Additional Service
Used where there is a need to sell an additional service with certain tickets that has a different tax rate than the original item and can be seen in the analyses as a separate item.
Example A: With a particular type of ticket insurance is needed
Example B: Ticket combinations like sauna and food; food has a lower tax rate than sauna in certain tax systems
Selling a ticket that has this additional service functionality in the Metra POS Software automatically adds the additional service to the document as a separate item. Also reversal and returning of the ticket automatically removes this additional service. The Additional Service Check Engine can be added on any passage and issued in conjunction with any ticket requiring this functionality.
New example Ticket will be created in existing Item Group "Daily" and Service Group "Daily".
STEP 1:
In Tables\Sale\Services add new Service or skip to STEP 2 if you want to add an Additional Service based on already created service. Check the required Check Engines. See also Services Add & Edit examples.

STEP 2:
In Tables\Sale\Items add new Item based on previously created service or make a duplicate of already created Item. Be sure to select "Additional Service" type.

STEP 3:
In Tables\Sale\Ticket Properties add new Ticket Property.

STEP 4:
Go back to Tables\Sale\Services and add new Service. See also Services Add & Edit examples. Check the previously added Additional Service Check Engine along with other required check engines.

STEP 5:
Go back to Tables\Sale\Items and add new Item based on Service added in STEP 4.

STEP 6:
After the Item is added the additional item (Additional Service) will be automatically added to the Bill/Delivery Note when selling the Item (Ticket) with Additional Service Check Engine. See Metra POS Software Help for additional information.
